Youth

Practical emotional regulation for growing minds

Mindful Resolutions® equips youth in classrooms, youth-serving organizations and juvenile facilities with accessible, relatable tools to understand their emotions and handle conflict effectively. Young people learn how to recognize when they’re becoming overwhelmed, pause before reacting and communicate needs in ways that build trust with peers and adults.

These skills support emotional regulation, reduce conflict and help youth feel confident, capable and connected in environments where expectations and stress are high.

Learn how our approach helps youth build awareness and the confidence to navigate complex emotions below.

How It Works

All youth programming uses the S-R-C Method™ and Pause Before You Pop Method™ to build practical, repeatable skills. Youth learn to:

  • Recognize emotions and respond with greater control
  • Communicate and listen more effectively
  • Build healthier relationships with peers and family
  • Navigate conflict with greater confidence

Youth meet twice a week for 6 weeks, with each session lasting 45-60 minutes. Our format is interactive with games, discussion and real-life role play. Groups include 6-16 youth.

Participants are asked short reflection questions before, during and after the program to measure growth. Privacy is protected at all times, and no names are used in reports without consent.
